Us
More than 15 years professional experience between us, since 2004 we have been involved with and working extensively on the Drupal platform using PHP, HTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, XSLT to integrate other systems and applications and to enhance the user experience and create truly useful tools, applications and multimedia content.
We favour an agile approach to development but also more than happy to use more established project techniques, predominantly using Prince 2 project management for our work with Ofcom.
Aa a company, we champion open source technologies, web standards and accessibility, we are currently preparing a video podcast series documenting every stage of our site from basic install of Drupal 6 through the themeing process to the creation of custom modules and a parallel flash based site.
We have been an Ofcom supplier since our incorporation, providing across the board Intranet services. During this time we have garnered board-level buy-in for projects and technical strategies, and fostered a new multi-media culture within the organisation, along with an introduction of agile methodologies. Live-web streaming, multicast delivery, branding, copywriting, Sap theming and introducing applications to provide 'joined up information' have all been part of our tenure. One of the main technology steps was the garnering support for adoption of Drupal (along with LAMP) to facilitate a central portal strategy, utilising services and delivering cross platform information.
Crispin studied Multimedia Systems at London Guildhall University in the olden days when Google didn't exist and people still said 'doubleyou doubleyou doubleyou dot' as a prefix for a web address. Now with almost a decade of professional experience in web technologies and infestructure he specialises in usability, accessibility and Internal Communications.
A keen and vocal advocate of web accessibility he wrote Ofcom's policy for Acessibility in Web applications. He is nearly always busy but never in a rush.
Dave is the founder of Cooked Breakfast, a Drupal evangelist, and a corking drummer.
